2012 Books For Troops UPDATE!!
Our donation goal for 2012 is 100,000 Items!!
We have already started accepting book & video donations, so please feel free to bring the items you want to send to our troops in to either store, or call us if you need help with a pickup...
Lance Dowd with Soldier's Angels informed me that in late Novemeber 2011, the LAST of our 18,000 items from this past year were shipped out. We have an even more aggressive goal this year, and we have partnered with Shreve Memorial Library, who will be making a substantial book donation.

NEW WINTER STORE HOURS!!
Yes, our store hours for the Bossier City store have changed again...
Currently, these new store hours are for Bossier City ONLY, and will be effective through February... After much discussion, we have decided to have shorter hours during the winter, and extend our hours during the Spring & Summer months.

Sunday 1pm - 6pm
Monday 10am - 6pm
Tuesday 10am - 6pm
Wednesday 10am - 6pm
Thursday 10am - 6pm
Friday 10am - 6pm
Saturday 10am - 6pm

These new hours are during the WINTER - We will have slightly extended hours during the Spring & Summer, so check back here for more details!

My father served in Vietnam from June 1965 to August 1966.
While he was there, he took tons of color slide pictures... The ones I have posted are no where near all of the pictures he took! I am slowly but surely, as time permits, getting all of his slides converted to digital format, and will continually add more to this new gallery whenever I get more done...

We are still BUYING books, but please be aware that we are selective on what we pay cash on. The types of books and media we pay cash on are usually hard to find non-fiction, some religion, some sci-fi, and some paranormal. We also pay cash for most Books on CD, DVD's, Blu-Ray, and Video Games, but we are somewhat selective. The best thing to do is to setup a trade account if you don't have one when you bring in your stuff!! We ALWAYS give you half of whatever we sell an item for in trade value!! And we are now offering our customers the ability to trade DVD's and Video Games if you bring that type of material in to us...
